Motel 6-Auburn, CA

While I felt that this was one of the nicer Motel-6 motels I have stayed at, and the young man at the reception desk was very cordial and helpful, I must say the price seems high. The brand is known for simple, basic comfort at a bargain price. At $114. for the night, your customers have numerous options in the immediate area, which means you give up some of your competitive advantage. So why did I choose your motel versus the Red Lion Inn next door? Because of your policy regarding dogs. Other than that, it was a toss up. And most people are not traveling with a service dog, so they would not care.

It was very clean and had been updated. Comfy bed and new Ikea like furniture. For those with electric cars there was a charging station with at least 4 bays in the parking lot.

The property is nice, very clean and well kept. It’s very close to gas stations and drive thrus. The staff is so warm and helpful and courteous. They answered all of my questions with care and compassion. When I found out that the pool was closed, they empathized with my disappointment. We’re down from Oregon, seeing my girls who are with their dad for the summer and on our way to San Francisco for the 4th of July fireworks show. My oldest daughter decided she wanted to stay with us last minute and they were so accommodating, bringing extra blankets and pillows immediately 💜 I paid a very low price for this hotel and got the service I would expect at a much more expensive hotel. I will stay here every time I’m in Auburn.

Staff was friendly and they stayed up and waited for us. We checked in early morning. Very appreciated appreciated. Great rates
